When you give someone a book you don’t give him just paper and ink, you give him the possibility of a whole new world.
Going by this adage, we make it a point to collect the books from all possible corners that have been read and are no longer in use. We then set on to distribute these books to those who can still read it and gain some important insights about this beautiful world of ours.
These are some of the various activities conducted under the aegis of the Geolife Foundation. We have now collaborated with 'Robinage' for last 5 years, an award winning weekly newspaper to help develop reading habits right from the very start in children aged 4 to 14 years. The content shared is interactive, engaging and aims at developing the thinking ability in children. It is the fourth year in running and the response is tremendous. Children wait for the new edition and are absorbed in the content soon after.
Arranging career counselling sessions for aspiring students and also aiding them with placements is another area where the Geolife Foundation is making its presence felt. With all the good intentions, we just aim that the journey we have started upon goes on like this and we are able to touch as many lives as possible in a positive and fruitful way.
